Wells Fargo customizes graphics packages for its branches based on factors such as demographics, branch size and branch type. Graphics refreshes run quarterly, and promotional refreshes run monthly. These refreshes required three employees running queries over several databases and combining those results with multiple spreadsheets. The entire process took two to three weeks, depending on the complexity of the graphics rollout. Wells Fargo wanted an efficiency upgrade.
Using REACH™, Miller Zell’s proprietary logistics management system, we helped Wells Fargo build custom attributes for each location. These attributes were easily updatable through the online application. We also provided an Application Program Interface (API) intersect to automatically sync these attributes from Wells Fargo’s enterprise system (SAP). Then, using these attributes, we were able to identify and filter locations. We also loaded each branch’s fixture inventory that it used to hold custom graphics.
The process introduced by Miller Zell required just one Wells Fargo employee to manage, and it takes that associate approximately six hours to complete a full campaign. Housing data in REACH also allows other custom reports to be created as needed. Further, Miller Zell streamlined their graphics process by incorporating a third-party printer workflow that is used to notify print vendors of quantities they need to produce, as well as due and fulfillment dates.
