Miller Zell to connect with retail leaders and clients in Chicago
ATLANTA, July 20, 2021 — Miller Zell will be in Chicago August 24-26 meeting with retail leaders and clients to discuss innovative retail solutions that create great customer experiences. Industry events like this are another encouraging sign that our country, economy and retail are re-emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Miller Zell has a full slate of activities including attending the much anticipated RetailX, conducting “Discovery Tours” around Chicago for small groups and enjoying a night at Wrigley Field to watch the Chicago Cubs.
SVP Retail Strategy Sue Dowd will lead curated, walkable tours of notable public environments in retail, hospitality, QSR and some notable gems along the way. “Excited to be back out in the field,” Dowd said. “Every stop on the tour is purposefully selected to inspire, energize, and stimulate creative thinking -- representing the best the Windy City has to offer. I promise there will be relevant insights and takeaways for all. That’s why we call it a ‘Discovery.’
Tour stops are selected as examples of retailers or other public spaces that have a unique or innovative approach to their branded space. These are locations that are “doing it right” and have something for us to learn.
There is nothing virtual about this experience. Said Dowd, “Be sure to pack your best walking shoes and get ready for a fun and enlightening in-person tour!”
Miller Zell also will be hosting a happy hour and then taking a group to see the Chicago Cubs play the Colorado Rockies on Aug. 24. This includes pre-game food and drinks at Mordecai before walking across the street to Wrigley Field to enjoy the game.
