Gen Z has never lived in a world without the internet or mobile phones and can buy just about anything online. Yet they are more likely to shop in a brick-and-mortar store than the generations that have come before them. To attract these up-and-comers, though, retailers must make the in-store experience aspirational, “cool,” relevant, and worth the trip.
