ATLANTA, Feb 15, 2019 -- Miller Zell’s certification as a G7 Master Qualification Colorspace printer was renewed in January.
This certification is the highest level offered by Idealliance®, a not-for-profit industry group dedicated to guiding print production best practices, specifications and standards worldwide.
“We applaud Miller Zell for utilizing the G7 Master Program to assure consistency and quality in their proofing, brand color management and print processes,” said Timothy Baechle, CEO for Idealliance. He continued, “G7 Master Qualification demonstrates a level of control and expertise that places Miller Zell at the top of their field.”
G7 is an industry-leading set of specifications for achieving gray balance. It is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes, establishing a universal calibration methodology that brands, buyers and creatives seek out to ensure the integrity of their brands. It is the only methodology and print validation program that crosses all print mediums, from offset, to screen, to wide/grand format, to digital, to textile, etc.
Colorspace compliance level means a close match across a G7-based color space: gray balance, tonality, shared neural appearance, overprints and entire colorspace.
“Color is critical for our clients and we take it seriously,” Miller Zell president Paul Papantonis said. “Maintaining G7 Master Certification is core to Miller Zell’s Quality Control Standards. Certification provides our associates' training and clients the best quality standards”
Miller Zell’s printing expertise and capabilities are also environmentally responsible. We previously earned recertification from the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), making Miller Zell one of just 58 companies in the nation whose printing facility operations are certifiably sustainable.
