New CIO Dallan Elk Brings Exceptional Technological Leadership Experience to Miller Zell
ATLANTA, Aug. 30, 2025 — Miller Zell is pleased to announce that Dallan Elk joined our team this month as Chief Information Officer (CIO), bringing over 20 years of experience leading digital transformation, enterprise IT, AI integration and cybersecurity in high-profile entertainment and hospitality industries.
Elk comes to Miller Zell from Zaxby’s, where he was the VP of Information Technology. Zaxby’s, a brand renowned for taste and technology, is a fast casual brand with more than 1,000 locations and $1.2B in revenue.

Before his tenure at Zaxby’s, Elk was Global Head of International IT for Six Flags Entertainment for five years and Global Head of Support, Services and Delivery for Omnico, a boutique software and services company focusing on the entertainment, retail and hospitality industries.

Elk earned a BS in computer science at the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University. A native of South Africa who speaks multiple languages, he lives in Atlanta and enjoys volunteer work, family, travel, his dog and tequila collecting.
