Lowe’s needed two large projects executed quickly, precisely and cost-effectively. First, it asked Miller Zell to manufacture and distribute 100,000 indoor/outdoor flip books for 1,728 stores in three phases. Then, it asked Miller Zell to print and distribute to all its stores 4.5 million teardrop bay locators, which Lowe’s uses for internal aisle-stocking purposes.
Miller Zell quickly modified, priced and prototyped an existing Lowe’s design. We then coordinated with a number of domestic and international manufacturing partners to ensure the best quality and pricing. Miller Zell completed all the printing for the teardrop project in-house, then kit-packed both projects onto one pallet to ensure cost and project efficiency with shipping.
This project required precise execution, and Miller Zell delivered. We developed a solution for Lowe’s that was both functional and cost-effective. The work was completed in four months, on time and on budget, with every delivery date hit for all three phases. The program was so well received that Lowe’s immediately requested a second rollout.
