“Retail Challenge” Highlights at Shop!X 2019

Competition adds twist to event’s focus on innovative retail solutions

ATLANTA, Oct. 23, 2019 — Miller Zell will not only discuss innovative retail solutions that create great customer experiences at Shop!X on Nov. 6-8, it also will sponsor and participate in the event’s “Retail Challenge.”

The Shop! Environments Association invited some of the best creative minds in the industry to  solve pressing retail problems during the three-day event at the Avalon Hotel. Teams will present their solutions in video format to all Shop!X attendees. Judges will score the teams on business value, innovation, design quality and presentation.

“We’re excited to be able to participate in this event — tough in-store design challenges are right in Miller Zell’s sweet spot, so this sounds like fun,” said Tom Ertler, Miller Zell’s SVP and creative director.

The event features an innovation workshop, a presentation on the 2020 economic outlook and a panel discussion on nontraditional retail. It also will celebrate new inductees into the Shop! Hall of Fame,
