SOUTH FULTON, GA May 13, 2019 -- City of South Fulton Mayor William “Bill” Edwards will host the South Fulton Municipal Association meeting and dinner at Miller Zell’s headquarters on May 16.
Mayors from East Point, College Park, Union City, Palmetto, Fairburn, Chattahoochee Hills, Hapeville and the City of South Fulton will be in attendance for the monthly meeting.
The City of South Fulton, which began operating as a chartered city on May 1, 2017, will be hosting for the first time.
“I am excited to partner with Miller Zell on hosting the South Fulton Municipal Association meeting,” Edwards said. “Hosting the meeting provides the city with the opportunity to showcase the vital importance of government and business working together to ‘Move South Fulton Forward.’”
Edwards is the first mayor of South Fulton. He previously served on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners from 2000 to 2014.
“Miller Zell is a great supporter of Mayor Edwards and the city of South Fulton,” said Miller Zell CFO David Seem, who is also serving a two-year term as chairman of the Fulton Industrial Community Improvement District.
“We believe in the purpose and the mission of the city and support its continued growth and success.”
