Retail Solutions Provider Miller Zell Expands Team to Best Serve Growing Client Base
The staff expansion bolsters client services, business development, marketing and analytics for the Atlanta-based company that has been providing integrated store development for over a half century.

The new hires hail from across the country, from San Francisco to Miami, from Harrisburg, Penn., to Tuscumbia, Ala., as well as including two Atlanta natives. Some own decades of experience in retail. Others bring skillsets from health care, journalism and graphic design.
Cathy Armstrong, senior vice president-client strategy & business development, has spent nearly three decades supporting retail and quick-serve restaurant clients across account services, print management, customer services, operations and fulfillment and distribution. She was with IMS for 18 years and Archway for three years before joining Miller Zell.
Steve Turner, senior vice president-national accounts, owns 18 years of retail experience, arriving at Miller Zell after a nearly three-year tenure at Big Red Rooster.
Tim Slough, vice president-client services, spent the previous six years at Pattison Sign Group. He brings 22 years of experience in retail, all of which has been focused in exterior branding and signage.
Brad Robinson, vice president-national accounts, worked the last three years with McCue Corporation, where his clients included The Home Depot, Dollar General, Whole Foods, Kroger and Publix. The Boston Red Sox fan has attended games at 23 of 30 Major League stadiums.
Leigh Canavan, senior vice president-marketing strategy & delivery, will lead Miller Zell’s marketing efforts after successful tenures at the American Cancer Society, Kaiser Permanente and GlaxoSmithKline.
Christen Frederickson, B2B marketing manager, was a freelance marketing consultant for 10 years before joining Miller Zell. She focused on B2B strategies for IT/Tech service providers in the senior living/long-term care industry.
Adriana Sandoval, content marketing designer, is the former associate art director for multiple coveted titles. Her designs can be seen on the pages of Cultured, Bal Harbour and Venice magazines
Ted Miller, marketing content writer, is a former senior writer at ESPN. A sports journalist for more than two decades, he was named Sports Columnist of the Year in 2007 while at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
Tony Niebank, analytics strategy lead, previously worked at Delta Airlines, The Home Depot and a software start-up that specialized in retail space management. He is probably one of the few people with a bachelor of science degree in physics who also has competed in mixed martial arts.
After a strong 2018 for the company and retail in general, the talent expansion guarantees that Miller Zell is well-positioned for the bright future of retail by aggressively investing in diverse talent to better serve its clients.
