ATLANTA, Feb. 18, 2026 — Miller Zell looks forward to meeting with retail and business leaders at SPECS in National Harbor, Md., on March 8-10.

SPECS, produced by Chain Store Age, brings together leading retailers and solution providers involved in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of stores and restaurants.

In addition to engaging retailers on our innovative and purposeful process that guides our development of outstanding customer experiences, Miller Zell president Paul Papantonis will moderate a session titled, “Accelerating Retail Rollouts: Innovative Project Management for Multi-Site Success” on March 9. Panelists will include Dan Buttry, Sr. Manager, Retail Design & Construction, for Verizon and Sara Iverson Smith, Sr. Consultant, for The Sigma Group.

The session will discuss “how retailers collaborate with vendor partners and design firms to streamline large-scale projects,” and it will “explore strategies to manage national renovations while maintaining brand standards, ensuring compliance and accelerating timelines.”

“Large-scale retail rollouts are complex and sometimes stressful, often due to tight timelines and budgets and execution challenges,” Papantonis said. “We’re going to focus on how you can reduce the complexity and stress with a collaborative process that is both efficient and creative while never losing focus on ROI.”

The panel will explore the questions retailers are asking as they plan rollouts today, touching on areas like customer journey insights, designing with production and installation in mind and piloting and refining before scale.
