The new National City Bank® prototype featured a compact footprint, efficient space utilization and easy office navigation. The missing ingredient was a “soul,” a focus for gathering. Miller Zell set out to create an inviting centerpiece: a signature element and resource center that welcomed customers to a new way of banking.
THE RESULT
Miller Zell proposed a living room concept that would promote warmth, assurance and relevance. Also crafting the signature tagline “Your Everyday Bank,” this overall point of view connects with customers and reinforces a sense of community, relationships and dependability.
Against a striking floor-to-ceiling lifestyle billboard, NCB’s diverse portfolio of financial products are featured in a consumer-centric gathering space that includes seating and lighting to create a comfortable, residential ambiance. The open sight lines and easy customer flow around this new hub for branch activity set a welcoming tone for customers to do business.
