THE CHALLENGE

Midway through the 2006 MLB winter break, the Atlanta Braves® embarked on an ambitious
plan to give their devoted sports fans upgraded amenities to complement the spectator
experience. This initiative would include the complete remodel of the corporate suites, the
entire adjacent club level and a complete graphic refresh of the stadium’s navigation and
information signage. The entire program had to be completed by Opening Day — only four
months away.

THE RESULT

Accepting the challenge, Miller Zell became responsible for creating a client-approved design
that would best enhance the Braves brand and for acting as general contractor, which meant
full accountability for every detail. The 20,000 square foot club level was transformed from a
stale stadium corridor to a sophisticated lounge environment offering amenities usually found
in only new stadiums. Live cooking stations, branded food courts and layers of Atlanta Braves
history and culture work together to deliver a superior game experience.
